Does the water actually stay within the spare tire well? I wonder because I'd be a bit concerned with water getting into the rest of the car and throughout the carpeting from splashing around while driving.

Silly EPA says I should expect 42 highway. My most recent fill shows otherwise, 490 mostly highway miles averaged 47.2 MPG.:rolleyes:
