As I recall, the stipulation is that the witness will not benefit financially from the settlement, or words to that affect. To me, that rules out a spouse.

Yes, once you sign the offer and return it to them they will approve it. Once approved you can pick a date and dealer to return it to. They will them call to confirm the mileage and the date and dealership. They then update the portal page to reflect the final offer amount (provided your mileage...

Well, I received the appointment confirmation phone call from RicePoint, this morning. Checking on the portal shows that my offer increased by about $240. Good luck to the rest of you still in limbo.

Had they declined part of your paperwork, through no fault of your own, that might have been a different story. Glad it all went smoothly for you though.

Wow things are moving along quite quickly now. I too just had the offer accepted. I chose June 3. Gawd, I'll be glad when this is all over!

Well, I got an email saying my documents had been received and are under review, some eight days after getting the green check marks. So they haven't completely forgotten about me. I think we've just got to bide our time, and they'll get around to us.
