    Yeah…..don’t do that unless you want to replace the engine! That said you need to give us more info. Year , model , auto , manual , milage, did this suddenly happen , have you had the car long , any maintenance recently done like a timing belt done . We need more info from you.

    You don’t have to redo the timing. The threads are in the lower mount . You can even do the time sert installation while it’s in the car, done that too. The upper mount that’s bolted to the block pull the bolts out and move it around till you have clearance to drill and tap. Raise the engine...

    Yeah at the third TB change the aluminum threads pull out , at that time I just install all new time setts and be done with it in all the holes.

    Tdi bent rods cause

    Get ahold of Franko6 member on here , he will set you up. I had a similar issue , talked to him and I pulled all 4 rods and pistons and sent them to him where he matched the rod lengths and pistons weights and got me everything I needed to put it back together… you won’t go wrong with him.
