Sorry for the threadjack @fouillard13 Mr. UhOh, I have a few posts on this matter, and it's all there to view. They were adapted low-glared HIDs for Halogen glass-lens housings, 'nuff said. I won't comment anymore here. -M.

    my first ALH oil change

+1!! Place the oil filter into the engine first..relax. Then look at the 'spindle' and cap, remember your O-rings, and tighten by hand. It's going to run better than ever before. -M.

    2002 Warm Start Problem

Have you checked the integrity of the harness on Injector#3? (if looking at the engine, bonnet up, and ,moving to left... driver's fender to the right, one injector, then it's #3.) It's the expensive one, and also the toughest to get at. It's the 'Needle-Lift' sensor, and seems to control the...

    best headlights

I've used these Philips NightGuide H7 replacements since 2007. I did go off the rails with an HID test run, but I really regretted it. These bulbs are an exact H7 replacement, they will run in Hi-Beam as well, and the vision is amazing. They used to be called Philips Tri-Colour, but they are...

What did you do to your car today?

Hey VolksFolks, IBW, I didn't want to get into the whole filter debate again (circa my 2003 Golf, Alice). I live in a very dry climate, and rarely see a lot of humidity. If oil cannot stop a mist of moisture (yes, I said oil) in my situation, then I'm at fault. The stocker filter is laughable...

What did you do to your car today?

Did my first air filter change on my MKVI Jetta...and uhm...yeah. Does anyone want a large piece of cake? o_O Really? This is going in the 'stocker' storage bin. Already installed a proper drop-in filter, which will remain nameless because I'm getting too old to debate performance parts for...

    Serpentine belt popping off

Re: Belts slipping I was having the same problem when I still owned my 2003 Golf (Alice). It turned out to be a cracked alternator bracket, which was really surprising since it is a beefy aluminum casting. Hopefully this isn't the case with your car...good luck! -M.
