Can you solve this riddle? No power brakes !AND! turbo boost problems - 2009 TDI CBEA 2.0 Jetta VW

Throw a vacuum gauge on the vacuum pump? You can also check the booster for a leak using a mity vac. Also check this line https://www.idparts.com/vacuum-pump-brake-booster-line-cbeacjaackra-561612041c-p-13939.html?ceid=a15025ebfe5f2785f3c32aa0ec237cc8#product_tabs

    Leaking wheels! Are they repairable?

A few thoughts: Option 1: Bolt in metal valve stems similar to TPMS systems (or even the exact ones from TPMS just without the sensor on the end) Option 2: A bit of tire bead sealer applied to the new rubber stem before installation Option 3: try a new brand of rubber valve stem, it's...

    New Cr140 build!

I used the ticket system. They advised me to flash back to stock, I used the flashzilla to do so myself. I used the whitbread CP3 conversion. My only 'complaint' is the aluminum pulley wrench could be steel, but it would be easy enough to build a steel one if needed. The kit itself is great.

    New Cr140 build!

With the DTC issue I had with Malone it would still be worth flashing back to stock to see what faults you get. If you have an injector circuit fault it would be nice to know... No need to de pin to check the circuit. A back probe and scoping the injector would likely be the most comprehensive...

    AHU BUILD-oil cooling

I'm going to use mine as a power steering cooler on my 4x4. Since you can't return it I figured I'd throw it out there in case you had a similar application.

    AHU BUILD-oil cooling

https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.php?threads/oil-coolers-you-have-options-guys-look.78993/ If anything the V6 oil cooler makes the most sense. I had a spare auxiliary oil cooler left over from another project and decided it wasn't even worth it to fit to my ALH. I'm pretty sure the AHU can...

    Help with Overheating

Could still be the coolant pump. Did the replacement pump have a metal or plastic impeller? Hopefully no damage was done to the head (warpage). It is possible the head gasket failed and is causing air locks in the system. How did you bleed the cooling system?

Are Re-Manufactured DPF Any Good? What To Do with Old DPF or NOx Cat

I just removed my turbo and DPF on a lift and ended up lowering the sub frame. Can't imagine doing it on my back and trying to snake the thing out with the subframe in place. Granted mine is an 09 so perhaps there are some slight differences in clearance to a MK6? I just loosened the bolts and...

    CJAA 2200 bar fuel sensor

I got mine from the dealer after convincing them to give me a deal. There's possibly some wiggle room on the price they're quoting.

    VNT solenoid wiring

    New Cr140 build!

Careful though, it IS a heater. If your VNT solenoid was hot, I'd think maybe they were mixed up. Wires at the solenoid should be yellow with black tracer pin 1, brown with yellow tracer pin 2. I don't have the heater hooked up because the CR170 intake pipe didn't have provisions for one...

    New Cr140 build!

I can take some pictures of the connectors and wire colors on my CBEA. It was the 2 pin connector on the VNT solenoid that's on the firewall, in my case. I can confirm the 6 pin DID set a circuit fault, so I suspect that's not your issue. The solenoid wiring would be mixed up with the crankcase...

    New Cr140 build!

Are you running a tune? I had an issue where I had the VNT solenoid plugged into the wrong connector after deleting (that's what i get for just disconnecting everything willy nilly without marking it) and Malone had deleted the DTC for boost control solenoid circuit... my initial issues sound...

Yet another DPF/EGR/P0401/P2002 thread... dynamic EGR as mitigation?

From experience, malone/tunezilla does not charge for changes except for the price difference between choices. If you're planning on tuning after hardware changes, no loss to tune beforehand to get dynamic egr.

Why not start with no mods (maybe a downpipe since it looks like you're building for off road use ) and a stage 2 tune? Have you ridden in anyone's car with stage 1/2/3+?

    CP3 fuel pump upgrade thread

How many miles have you put on the pump? It is difficult to know exactly what one is getting quality wise. It appeared nice and clean externally, and was filled with diesel, threaded plugs installed in all ports. Fired right up after bleeding fuel rail. I'm still trying to determine if the...

    CP3 fuel pump upgrade thread

My highest pressure is about 1920 Bar as well. On my Malone ticket I was told fueling is correct. I am using 0445010042 pump with 0 928 400 643 FMV, pump was purchased from Nerings.
