Sounds fishy?..... Whats hard to understand?.... I mailed my bad ECM to ModuleExperts ,they called me back a week or so later, explained the ECM i sent them was fried to bad to fix. They explained that they will take information off of it and built my Jetta a new ECM. I got the new ECM plugged...
Good news! Took my TDI Jetta to a independent diesel repair shop and the guy checked all he could and was pretty sure it was
the ECM so I sent it off to a ECM repair place called ModuleExperts in jacksonville, Fl. It took them several weeks because my old ECM was for some reason pretty fried...
Not really seeing a bad wire or ground, but still possible just don't see it, so am thinking my ECM is going bad. Is this common? Should I have it checked and rebuilt? If so anybody had this done and can recommended a good internet company that does this.
Replaced my glow plug relay with a new 530 relay and still have the starting problem when the engine is warm mostly. Noticed if the glow plug on the dash lights up it will start, but if no light no start.
I'm pretty sure I don't have a BEM on my 2011 TDI Jetta.
Also the parts dealer checked and the 530 glow plug relay is a new updated relay replacing the 508 relay for the glow plugs.
When the car won't start turning the key the sound it makes is the starter turning the engine over with great cranking power, it just won't start up. It just won't start at first sometimes taking dozens of key turns.

Ordered a new glow plug module and replaced the glow plugs. Where is the glow plug module located? Just can't find it to change out, watched many you tube videos and can't find a 2011 Jetta showing it's location. only thing i can think of is i was sent the wrong module relay and does not look...
Well the problem is back. I replaced the key ignition assembly and went for several test runs, starting the car several times and it always started right up for a week, really thinking it was fixed. Well yesterday drove a hour out of town to a doctors appointment and when I came back out to the...
I ordered a new VW key ignition assembly from FCP euro and watched some utube videos that were a massive help. Spent the weekend removing the old ignition cylinder, put my old key barrel into the new cylinder and after many hours got her done. She fired right up on one crank with four tests...
Hello, I have a 2011 Jetta TDI with 190k miles on it and it is being a pain in the butt , just can't depend on it now. It's rare, but maybe one out of 10 car starts my Jetta will take a dozen or so cranks to start the engine or more sometimes, twice it took over 20 minutes to start then next...
