    Does anyone know if i can get a newer diff code for my vehicle as the installed one is noisy due to wear or maybe oil loss, were there any recalls or diff codes to avoid? My diff code is ETS thanks in advance.

    Hi had many problems with no starts and tracked it down to 109 relay which had a bad solder joint, re-soldered it and now no problems touch wood :) see pic below!

    Haven't checked, should i do this? This started happening after I have had the manifold of to clean it? cant see how this would cause any damage to anything so its got me stumped, I will check timing and glow plugs and report back.

    Same thing happens to me since I cleaned the egr. power is ok tho just very smoky and faltery on cold start up.

    Hi m8 although my engine is different to yours I found after cleaning my EGR valve it started to leak quite a bit of oil, see picture below (EGR is top left) Richy

    Yeh the lifter spins as freely as the rest and the head doesn't bother me in the slightest :)

    Like i said its just temp for now the cam and new lifters are on order and the head is fine nothing to worry about.

    PD engines require 5W40, Here in the uk 10w40 Part Synthetic oil is sutible for my car. :)

    Had a look for the lifter pieces around the cam area but non to be found, I am praying they are stuck someplace forever not causing any further damage because a full engine strip down is out the question, the car is still in use for school runs 5 - 6 mile a day until I get the parts so fingers...
