So, I drove the car yesterday, and it drives well. The leatherette is coming undone from the door panel, but that’s cosmetic and can be fixed. There was a whooshing sound on startup, so maybe someone could weigh in on that. Possibly turbo leak? It didn’t seem to affect driving or performance...

well, since -- according to vw -- the transmission fluid in the b5.5's is a "lifetime" fluid with no need for change, ever, why would the dealer even be checking it? (btw, i changed mine at 50k and it was pretty solid then, very little sludge on the magnet and still pretty good looking)

i'm assuming the reflash is going to kill my rc 2 and 1134 tranny recode? guess i'll have to visit jeff again after i have this done
