What Rob stated above regarding connections. After removing and cleaning the red cable from the solenoid cured my no crank.
I did test the starter separately with a screwdriver across the two starter leads.
My Hitachi starter had a co crank a few years ago. Removing, cleaning, and greasing the main red cable cured the problem.
Not alot of corrosion on the cable end, but just enough to cause the no crank.
Sorry, no pics. I did swap a Bosch reman 120 amp alternator before I attempted this mod The onlr drawback is the added GP;s grt in the way of the ECT sensor. I would think twice about doing this mod.

Had a rodent get trapped in my serpentine belt. I was lucky too that the loose belt did not do any harm. Happened in a busy intersection.
A squirrel had probably spent the night under my hood and managed to go for half of my commute before the belt popped off.
Could be a tarnished connection at the starter solenoid. Had that happen with my Hatachi starter. Scotchbright and some dielectric grease cured my no crank problem.
