    There is also a gasket set that can go with it. The tapped hole for the EGT probe has a bolt in it so you dont need to put a probe in if you don't want to.

    Ok, so a handful of bits then, thanks. ALH swapping the 08 could be done, but the BEW has done 166k without a single running issue, whereas the ALH has done 108k and isn't running right lol.

    Thanks all. Just ordered my engine crane so hope to take the engine out for a clean up/lots of parts fitting/new clutch/belt and water pump soon :)
