    New V10 TDI Touareg owner.

The uhaul trailers we have available up here are pigs when empty can only have a little over 5k payload.... The v10 alone would max them out... and when loaded, they would be way over the Q7s rating. How did the Q behave being maxxed out like that?

Congrats on the egg.... I'm almost certain that you were towing "illegally" as per pic... guess the fuzz isn't that pick in those woods as they are around here!

    DPF cleaned?

There is no "heating" element... the ECU makes changes to operating parameters to enable active regens.

    DPF cleaned?

If you guys are talking about the throttle valve, then yes, it craps on the system because it's used in both EGR and Regen cycles to control airflow.

Official Ontario stuff for sale thread

Found a set of brake pads. I haven't bothered to go to my parent's place yet to take pictures of the bulky stuff like the AMG rims or the coilovers. If there's interest, I'll put that effort into it.

    DPF cleaned?

Post your full scan. There's tons of useful info in the FF data.

Not my pic, but it illustrates what I'm saying.... from an A6 review

Just bought a 2013 Passat tdi

My stock pig of an egg with the same engine basically, more weight, crappier aero, being used as a DD instead of a hwy cruiser, used for commuting, towing, and just about everything else, returns very acceptable average FE based on all those things..... A sedan with deletes and better...

    How Fast?

One other thing to take into consideration is the powerband..... since the user was "racing", I will safely assume that he was in sport mode or tip or whatever and holding 7th gear.... as such, with the gear ratios on a TDI Touareg, this would put him right near the 4k RPM mark (just shy...

    How Fast?

So does stuff like EGT limiter and power reduction due to various other things which if left unchecked might allow a driver to damage stuff.... In the absence of any data, I would suspect that his EGTs were through the roof for an extended period of time and the ECU had already started to...

Just bought a 2013 Passat tdi

A6s to A8s are highway munchers.... they are geared for that.... it all depends on what your use pattern is.... Throw in deletes and they quickly become bladder busting long range luxo-cruisers.

    New ECM

The DOT character is not acceptable. What process did you use to attempt these changes? Did you check that you didn't record something incorrectly off what's laser etched on the injectors that didn't take?

    How Fast?

I can't find my calculator.... does your alleged limiter you hit convert to what I'm showing? How do you know you hit a "limiter"? And even if you did hit one, how do you know it was a "speed limiter"?

    DPF cleaned?

So I'm unclear, did you pickup the car after all that work and it still had a CEL on?

    Fuel Injector Leak-off lines... clamped?

This also coincides with the injector deviations you posted in your other thread that also shows you those two are the worst of the six.
  16. TurboABA

    Fuel Injector Leak-off lines... clamped?

Yes, the FF data is telling you that those two injectors are triggering the fault much more frequently than the others....

    New ECM

post the two injector codes that were not accepted by the ECM

Just bought a 2013 Passat tdi

I'd service the DSG first, and then do a deep dive into it with VCDS to see if any of the things you're wanting to delete are the cause of any issues. All those deletes will cost a lot, and if it was mine, I wouldn't bother looking at that until they become problems. Fixing all the other worn...

    New ECM

That's not a scan. Those are generic OBD-II reports. Pull the DPF stats if you suspect something is acting up on that front.

    New ECM

So all this is telling you that you haven't driven enough or sufficient cycles to satisfy all the readiness. How many drive cycles\miles have you done since the last code clear? Every time to do a code clean on the ECM, it will reset the readiness monitors and you have to start all over.
