After a discussion on NASIOC, I ordered the FSD for my stock springs. I'll post back in a couple weeks with a report and opinion.

My JSW is at 4k mi. I just discovered a blown stock shock, passenger front, confirmed by mechanic. I am pretty sure it will be replaced under warranty. This has got me thinking about possibly upgrading. Would upgrading to maybe a Bilstein HD and leaving the stock springs improve the ride...

Any amp with high level inputs will work. The front speakers in the JSW are a PITA and/or expensive to upgrade. I am using my 510 with an AudioControl EQX to my amps. I kept my stock door speakers. The EQX helps them sound alot better.

11 JSW TDI DSG- ~2400 mi - I have grippy 225/45/17 Pirellis and am averaging 33 mpg so far. I think I'm losing 2-3mpg from the tires.

I bought the JSW TDI because I loved the JSW and the TDI was much better, IMO, than the 2.5. I would LOVE a VR6 JSW. If your a bean counter, there is no advantage dollar wise to the TDI. It will have higher resale that a gasser.
