Could be air in the clutch hydraulics, or a bad master or slave cylinder.

If anything, there's the dipstick tube I can go down too. My bore scope is 5.5mm, should fit. I know for a fact it fits down ALH injector holes.

Is there a way to tell if a balance shaft delete has been done without dropping the pan? Can't seem to find any pictures.
