Your car has a DSG. It will likely need to be replaced. Possible that it is just the mechatronics unit, but that costs as much as a complete used box. The computer is part of the mechatronics.

I went the other way towing a trailer in 2021 in the Q5 TDI. Wonderful engine to tow with.

I believe there are 2 sets of mounts that work. One set works with the original automatic subframe and the other ones require a different one.

I should be taking my old 6 speed wagon apart soon. I will check the mount numbers when I have it out.

Indoor or outdoor? Outdoor? I wouldn't bother. Drive it once a week. I have several cars I store for winter (3 summer toys) and the biggest issue is always the batteries.
