Did the buy back and have 4 quarts of mobil 1 5w30 ESP. Looking to trade for 4qts regular Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic. Figured it is better used in a TDI...
Prefer local trades at this time in central FL.
I'm 6'5" and can have my seat almost all the way back with a rear facing child seat behind me. Very few cars can do that full-size included.
GSW seat behind me becomes almost useless even for small child.
I'm just tired of Toyota marketing abusing the phrase 'all new' to describe generation after generation of Camrys. They've been on the same chassis and powertrain for at least a decade. And funny enough people eat it up and rush out to buy the not so 'all new' version. In my mind all new sheet...
Having rented an Insignia fastback in France it was a decent driving car. It might be a totoally different experience without the turbo diesel stick shift in the US. I averaged 43 mpg US.
I agree but we couldn't turn down being paid more for our 2013 Passat than we paid. It wasn't about emissions for me but $$$. We didn't replace with new and bought a gently used car so your new car point is moot.
If we all truly cared about emissions or health you would have riots against the...
If it was about the environment or health you would be concerned about the gasoline directed injected engine's particulate emissions. They are significantly higher than modern diesels with particulate filters. Nonetheless they are legal and thus people don't care. I definitely don't prefer...
Ended up with a pristine certified 2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium. It has been difficult to get prices from VW dealers on a new vehicle without going in for the 'sell.' My wife really wanted the Outback anyways. Happy wife...happy life.
I stopped by and asked my dealer about putting a deposit on a 15+ TDI. They aren't taking them as the GM said they don't know when they'll be able to sell them but likely not until stage 2 fix. I hope other dealers taking deposits are legit.
I'm ok with listing all the fees they want as long as the price is what I want to pay but can't even get to a starting number without the dealer visit.
They have devolved into buy-here-pay-here lot strategies using the grind, add-ons, and financing kickbacks. It wasn't this bad when I bought...
Agree. I'm open to buying another Passat mainly for cabin room. Me being a tall guy 6'5" and rear facing seats are almost impossible on anything else in this class/price. The other midsize cars on paper with equivalent legroom must have been measured using a different method.
That said...
Battery is in the trunk if that bothers you. A dealer local to me had a 2017 SEL Reef Blue with moon rock VR6 not long ago but I think it is gone. It looked sweet.
My warranty booklet says adblue system is 2yr/24k, not the typical 3yr/36k. I think others here have been burned by this too.
Somehow adblue system is not an emissions system.
Adblue heater just went out on my Florida car.

Just had my last free 30k service 2k mi ago at a Central Florida dealer. Bought a 2.5gal jug of urea at Sam's Club and the car took the whole thing.
Is this a case of the dealer 'forgetting' or designing non-warrantied repeat business when the 'light' goes on?
