The doors in the ac/heater system would throw a code even though the cel is not triggered, the doors can cause loss of heat and or loss of ac. Not sure what level of scan tool needed to read the codes, other than dealer/vcds. I’d suggest a scan as you may have more than one issue?

Finally got it in yesterday, had a call late today, told it was an intercooler issue for the loss of coolant, no more details. It has used about 3 liters at least in about 2-3,000 kms.

Oilhammer, curious why these things fail, does the electric motor fail or a crap piece of plastic fail? Also, are these in stock at US dealers? My dealer says they are backordered and they checked US supply and none there.

Vent ac actuators are on back order at vw, been waiting on one for a month or 2.

Any change in oil colour? I’m losing antifreeze too, but oil looks fine.

Maybe get that in imperial gallons too?

Mine has always turned off instantly when I hit the button, turns on instantly too, unless cold weather and I have to wait a few seconds for glow plugs.
