    2000 jetta intermitent limp mode

OK so I pulled a vacuum line from the spherical tank and even though the car had been sitting for about 6 hours heard a hiss of air getting sucked in so guess that rules out the lines. Read somewhere I believe that the p1619 code could be a bad MAF so I think I have one of those laying around so...

    2000 jetta intermitent limp mode

OK so Im reading through a thread by Canadian Grizzly about how to troubleshoot limp mode. Will start by replacing vacuum lines as they are ragged looking. Weird thing is my symptoms tend to appear under no throttle not under heavy throttle. Will report back

    2000 jetta intermitent limp mode

OK so my tdi has developed an issue where it will randomly go into limp mode. If I switch the key off and then on it runs fine. I have switched out the ecm and it still does it with new one (both have imobi delete) I always have a CEL due to bad glow plug circuit and removed egr . Any...

    Modifications for Mileage MkV

Aerodynamics IMO are more important than most other mods. I have had several 900 mile tanks and am setting my sights on a 1000. My aero mods started with moon hubcaps and removing the passenger mirror. I then taped up my upper grill. I recently did a coroplast full belly tray and rear wheel...

    Airdog fuel system

Thanks Bill, that is the info I was looking for. I knew we had a return line from the filter but didn't realize it helped remove air from the fuel. I am always searching for any additional boosts in efficiency, however small.

    Airdog fuel system

Just curious, I just installed an "Airdog" fuel system in my dodge pickup and after just 2 days of driving I can say I believe I feel an improvement in the usable torque , not sure yet about the MPG but would assume some improvement. The theory is they remove all the air from your diesel so...

97 passat wagon, 280K miles runs great gets in the 40s. good rubber new heater core. Only real issue is the front doors are quirky, i.e. the windows keep coming off the track . Has rust in one spot around the rear passenger wheel well. I will try to figure out how to get pictures up. Whats...

    scan gage issue

However it is the car giving the alarm not the SG. I didn't see anywhere on the SG that measures oil pressure. I will get a mechanical reading on the pressure just seems strange that it only happens when the SG is connected. Would suck to blow the motor due to a bad pump though.
