    Malone stage 1/AHU pros/cons

Gotcha. Living on the east coast its obviously tough to see what hes has or work thats been done. Id like to drop the AHU and put it in a rabbit pickup, and i guess the best bet is to get a truck from out of that area.

Subject: Where was Your Favorite Road Trip?

My favorite road trip was Route 66. ive done Trans Canada Highway in 2 segments (Winnipeg to Toronto, Winnipeg to Vancouver) as ive posted in a few other threads. The Winnipeg-Vancouver route was the same year i did PCH (missed the drive through redwoods (and Crater Lake due to time issues)...

    Malone stage 1/AHU pros/cons

Thanks. I really have not heard/read too many bad things about Malone compared to a few others, which is why I went that way. Rocketchip is outside York, Pa. a 3 plus hour drive. But never returns calls or emails. So i went with Malone. Driving back and forth to Manhattan for the most part, i...

Yea, absolutely. Though the Blue Whale in Catoosa would probably be too small for a BBQ or 'off the grid' GTG. Great place to do it, though. Even with no swimming.

States, provinces, and countries I've been to... show off your traveling scoreboard!

48 out of 50, and Canadian Provinces from Quebec to British Columbia. Would love to do Alcan Highway and hit 49 of 50 and zip over to the east side of Quebec and explore those provinces as well. Retiring in a few months so aside from part time work to keep busy, i should have plenty of time to...

    2023 TDIfest/GTG discussion thread

I recall posting in a few other pages on a TDiFest anywhere along Route 66 due to its unique history. Then again, maybe somewhere in Canada, with the currency exchange rate favorable for those south of the border. Hell, even something on both sides of the border might keep everyone happy...

Anyone have experience with FCP Euro?

For the most part, no complaints with FCP. Last order, I was sent the wrong fuel filter. Sent pics to verify and that was the last time i heard from them. I waited a month, and was given a $10 credit on my next purchase. Things happen, but will use them anytime.

WTB in need of the turn signals and the dummy panel for a setup with fogs

Greetings, looking for Jetta fog lights with 3 pin connectors. Love the stuff on Ebay (even the expensive stuff...lol) but all are 2 pin. Not too tech on them but my pal Tyler (burn_your_money) can give you any more information you may need or want. If anyone knows stuff on Ebay, Amazon, etc...

Welding the body of a A3

My apologies. On the autoparts and not autosport, along with the misinformation corrected by P2B. Andysautosport had them a few years ago when i was looking for Mk3 parts, and I think Keyparts supplied them at the time, along with the rockers you mentioned at present. My 98 is a rust bucket as...
