Buyback was this past Wednesday and yesterday I signed all the paperwork on a 2017 golf soortwagen tsi 4motion. It was a dealer demo has 7000 miles on the clock and I paid 17.8k plus taxes tags etc.. pretty stoked !
Thanks man, coincidentally I was just looking at a leftover demo golf wagon 4 motion in the dealer with 5k miles on it for atound 18k .... A little less then my buyback amount ;)
Well folks, this will be my last post on this thread I started quite a few years ago since I will be turning in my Passat to VW tomorrow for the buyback. Final count 106k ! Did all my own maintenance over the years, no turbo failure no hpfp issues so I’m thankful. I love this car and hate to...
I have done my 40 , 60 , and 80k fuel filter services using the FILL & PRAY method with no ill effects. Now at 94k. Never as much as a stumble or hesitation. Car always starts normally.
Not rediculous at all. All the readiness flags need to reset in order to pass. It took my car close to 500 miles before everything was reset last time I had a repair. You can test for readiness with any cheap OBD2 scanner before you waste your time going back for emissions testing.
Nope not all down hill. Some ups some down but no steep grades. Just my normal commute home from work on the garden state parkway. I have gotten many tanks over 50 hand calculated but keep in mind the Passat gets better fuel economy than your Jetta and mine is a 6 manual.
I know it's not completely accurate but I've managed full tanks over 50mpg when driving carefully (pen and paper) and gave no doubt that some carefully driven highway stints have resulted in close to 60 mpg. Remember car set a world record so my meger 50 something is nowhere near what this car...
