Oilhammer I’m looking at maybe a 2014 A7. I live in WY so I plan to remove some troublesome bits…. Why 2015? It appears to be just before all of the sensors and assisted this and that. i think Kerma is up in the mountains of Colorado. What should I look for when shopping or just avoid them...

At least in the States our Passat never got the 2.5. Lots of cool stuff we never got over here… I do hate when a car complains loudly but won’t tell you what’s going on. :-)

That may be true, but she runs perfectly and returns 47 on the highway at 80mph, limits boost right, pulls better from idle than any tune I’ve had, and even at WOT blows very little smoke. You probably can do a lot better and you probably are a better tuner, but trashing a vendor who’s provided...

In my ALH I went with the gtd1752vrk and a custom version of malone stage 5 limited to 28psi. I have stock-like turbo response around town and more than enough passing power in 6th gear on the highway.

Ah, thanks. Not paired with special actives but oranges though I’m betting not that big of a difference. I do think I will make this upgrade at some point in the future.

Hey folks for those who have special actives, what springs did you pair them with? I’m using new stock springs and I don’t think it’s a good combination but I don’t want to lower the car…
