I've been on this forum for a good number of years. I don't have a TDI anymore as I sold mine and then diesel prices went through the roof and continue to be almost $2.00 gallon higher than RUG around here. I can't find a clean TDI at a decent price that can justify paying the high fuel...
It won't stop me if there is another Fest. But I would feel a little out of place without a TDI. Maybe by then I will stumble on a mint ALH TDI to scarf up. I let too many of them slip through my fingers over the years and now that generation of TDIs are vanishing.

Yeah, if we had one more I would have to come without my wife as she is on oxygen 100% of the time now and needs a walker. Car trips with her are a chore and not much fun.
I believe I have a tee shirt from the 2013 one that was in Sunday River. Hard to imagine that was 7 years ago. Hopefully, after the Covid stuff ends right after the November election, someone will organize another Fest.
I haven't been here for a while (fresh out of TDI's), but reading Bus's experiences on his B5 reminded me of the years when I had two, yes TWO of these fine cars. I did everything he is doing and then some. I actually got so proficient at changing torn axle boots I could do it in 1 hour, round...
Let's hope so. I'd like to attend another Fest before I get too old to drive. :D
I'd need another TDI though. Been off the diesel bandwagon for a while now, but always looking for that "cherry" ALH to come my way.
