I am going to have to regretfully withdrawal my reservation. I started a new job on Monday and was informed today of a sales event that typically last late into the night on January 13th. Not going to be able to do that and attend WinterFest. I was really looking forward to it too! :mad:

We also gave the hotel some closer parking spaces back, since people were parking there anyways. Looks like we are in good shape for the tents at 10!

I think we did decide there was some potential in Asheville and even contacted a hotel or two. Don't ask me the name because it was near the same time we were working on Lisle, IL.

Vendors are under no obligation to support the site and are not charged a fee to 'advertise'. Many vendors do support the site by donating products to be raffled or auctioned off at Fest, but again, they are not required to do so. How many people actually make a donation if they sell their car...

Comments like this are missing the point and purpose of Fest. While TDIFest is there to get more people interested in TDIs and spread the word, its main purpose is to raise funds for the club. When is the last time you have seen an add on the site? When is the last time you have gotten a spam...
