    GTD2060VZ

Following advice from tuner's experience with similar unit on their Ibiza. I did not have water cooling setup on GTB2260vklr and no issues, but I did set it up when I had it rebuilt to 2365 just because I had the empty engine bay staring at me with plenty of room to work around. GTD2872 from DS...

    GTD2060VZ

That's a good choice turbo, with right tuning should have enough boost down low to support DMF-shudder-inducing torque. Should be able to leave water cooling lines empty, that's what I'll be doing with GTD2265 I have coming. The oil feed/return should be on bottom like you have, but that...

    Burpod Tuning

The term "stages" is for the masses to more easily grasp anyway. A better way to name them would be a 70mg tune or 120mg tune, since the amount of injected fuel is a far better differentiator between power levels. But it's not really data that most people care to think about..they just want it...

    My tuned Ibiza(s) 2.0TDI FR ´13

Riding that DMF limit all the way to a 500ft-lb @3,000rpm peak is seriously fun looking 🔥

Going 2266 in my CJAA CR2.0 TDI

A 2.5" (63mm or 65mm) aluminum hose joiner works perfect to connect that malone tip elbow to the factory accordion hose. To pose a thought provoking comment on your extra crankcase vent... By venting to the ground, you're introducing regular atmospheric air pressure into your crankcase via that...

Going 2266 in my CJAA CR2.0 TDI

Try no more than 6 channels at a time, making sure to hit the Group UDS checkbox if it's there, as well as the turbo button each time when logging. There looks to be very large gaps between data points in your logs. I'm not sure if possibly you have an older/slower cable that is limiting that as...

Piping for Gtb turbo on CJAA

A regular 90° silicone won't do the trick?

    Xman turbo

FWIW, the fueling in the tune is what causes smoke..not the turbo. Unless like I said before, there's a big boost leak somewhere.

    Xman turbo

Save money, but buy a new turbo?? I have the same setup as you, tuned by @burpod..your car could rip too, just like mine does. If you can set the actuator stop screw back where it was from Xman, set the actuator rod to hit the stop at 18in-hg, warm idle IQ set to 3.5-3.8mg, then let a few...

    Cp4 failure

The R90 requires modification to the accessory bracket in order to fit. And the line needs to be bent for both R70 and R90. The R90s must be more plentiful in the aftermarket, as there aren't many R70s floating around out there.

    Xman turbo

The turbo upgrade alone (which is minimal) isn't causing more smoke unless you have a massive boost leak somewhere. A proper adjustment to your tune is needed. Physically changing things over and over is only causing you frustration when it could all be fixed by someone remotely. Also, way more...

    Xman turbo

Or you could just set it to 18in-hg and stop worrying about lengthening and shortening a hundred times...let your tuner refine the file with proper logging. You're trying to solve an issue that can be done with an ECU update from the sound of it. If the car ran well before the turbo change, you...

    Xman turbo

Don't overthink it, you should move the stop screw back to there Xman had it if you can. That should never be messed with as it's set with expensive equipment attached to the turbo on a bench. Like @burpod said set the actuator to hit that screw at 18in-hg once the screw is where it was from...

    Cr190 turbo upgrade

Would require a custom intake manifold as there don't appear to be any A2A versions of the EA288. I'm liking the idea of separating the circuit from the main engine loop first, and seeing what temps do with just that change. Then possibly rigging up a front mounted radiator in the bumper if...

    2015 Passat CVCA Recipe ?'s

Elevation should only affect max boost (to limit overspeeding the turbo). There should be plenty of workable boost/fuel under 2500rpm, but that IS where the peak torque would come in likely. Have you done any datalogging to send to your tuner? Surely there is work that can be done, that turbo...

    Cr190 turbo upgrade

-Stock cp4.1 likely good to 240-250hp (the most the cylinder head will let you get anyway) -Injectors needed to get past ~210hp - GTD or Darkside stage 1 injectors flow more than enough on these -Clutch would definitely need upgrading - Sachs SRE organic disc kit is perfect IMO -Charge air...

    GTB2060VKLR Building a boost map.

    GTB2060VKLR Building a boost map.

I'm running a 1mm restrictor, but that's because I have the upgraded turbine wheel and a slightly less than perfect oil return. I ran no restrictor on the stock 2260vklr with no issue prior to upgrading this same unit. Running 2.65bar, with near 3bar on initial spool just fine. The EA288 and its...

    Major Sunroof Failure

Sucks to see this at such low mileage. I use my sunroof far too often to wrap it, and so far at 108k miles I'm still leak free. Car is garage kept though, so maybe that helps.

    Violent Engine Knocking/Shaking!

Definitely sounds like DMF, they can go quicker if you're tuned and torque isn't limited to protect it's longevity. Every fluid change should be "adapting" the DSG as well...helps keep shifts reset.
