2.0 TDI CR 136 Audi A4 Build Thread

don't go for a GTB226X hybrid turbo. go for the GTD226X hybrid's! they spool better, and use a newer generation VNT nozzle design. if i couldve found a GTD hybrid with a GTB manifold flange i would have bought it over my GTB2266.... @Xtremefunky picked up a GTD2265 i believe for his car, and...

    Digital/electronic N75 adapter

this project works kinda well with my other selfdriving project. the group i am involved with recently released their new canbus device, the "Ocelot Pro" which has canbus and a TON of IO for a STM32 exposed. i have already written somewhat sophisticated software for their ocelot, and built a...

    Digital/electronic N75 adapter

ok, that sounds entirely doable in the calibration settings of the actuator, and in the PID controls scheme. i'll keep this in mind while tinkering with my spare ECU. i might need to pickup an electronic actuator to play with lol. this paired with my spare cluster, canbusgateway, ABS, and...

    Digital/electronic N75 adapter

ah ok, nothing beats a simple solution. plus that solution is one which would continue to work even if i stopped making such an interface the added 1 wire is for ground right? the N75 gets 12v, and PWM, so you'd just need ground on the electronic actuator for it to work. then you account for...

    Digital/electronic N75 adapter

anyone have info on the CAN message used for the electronic actuator? i have access to some vw CANbus datasheets..... been very helpful for my self driving stuff. if someone has a can ID i can look it up on the powertrain canbus

    Digital/electronic N75 adapter

reviewing a video in that thread, it looks like you can just fit a electronic mercedes actuator to the ECU and update the calibration settings in the ECU tune. says the VW electronic one is CAN? hmm. using a stm32 chip would let us understand and graph the n75 pwm command from the ECU. then that...

    Digital/electronic N75 adapter

Was just curious if there would be a market or interest for a electronic N75 adapter/translator/converter The N75 valve is pretty simple from a electronics perspective, just a energized 12v coil which gets pulled to ground by a wire from the ECU. It is pulled in accordance with a sine wave...

Going 2266 in my CJAA CR2.0 TDI

New TIP fitted, and routed the CCV to atmosphere. Eventually I'll install a Kerma intake so I can get more room by the battery, then I'll put a catch can there so I can capture the oil. Cannot take the car onto the track with it dumping to atmosphere for obvious reasons I need to clean up my...

    Malone or Kermit?

Logging is using VCDS to record certain engine/car parameters so that the tuner can enhance the tune CP3 is an upgraded fuel pump for the CRTDI’s. The normal stage 2 tune from Malone certainly made the car run better. But if you don’t plan on deleting go with Kerma.

    Malone or Kermit?

My $0.02, malone is pretty good if you have a modern TDI that isnt a weird edgecase or engine swap. This is just my experience so YMMV, but years ago I bought a stage 0.5 delete tune which did just DPF/EGR delete as I had a DSG but no means to tune it at the time. About a year passed from then...

    Malone or Kermit?

the issue isnt the time, it is when flashing the ECU or sometimes the TCU the coolant fans can go full blast. this over even just 5-10 minutes will kill a battey

    Malone or Kermit?

always connect a battery charger or have another vehicle jumping the one being flashed. if the voltage drops too low the ECU will simply turn off. and that could happen in the middle of a write! that is how it gets bricked.

Looking for info on a cp4 disaster prevention kit

oh damn! what ever happened to 2micron? did he make the files publically available before he stopped making the kits? given that the cp4 can push higher pressures than the cp3, if i can fit one of these kits id love to keep the cp4 around....

Looking for info on a cp4 disaster prevention kit

judging by this video and link, this could work on our pumps https://www.warrendiesel.com/products/spe-motorsport-11-19-6-7l-powerstroke-disaster-prevention-kit it just sits under the metering valve, then you have to find a place to mount the filter

Looking for info on a cp4 disaster prevention kit

no need to be snarky. and it seems you'd have some reading up to do. these cp4 pumps do not have a "prevention kit" to be fitted. plain and simple. you either fit a cp3, or stay ontop of your OEM filter changes (which means doing them right! bleed the damn thing with VCDS) AND never run the car...

    My tuned Ibiza(s) 2.0TDI FR ´13

fair enough. when i get closer to doing an AWD swap, i may investigate a manual gear swap into a DSG more thoroughly

    My tuned Ibiza(s) 2.0TDI FR ´13

would it be possible to swap the gearing from one of the manual 6 speed's into the DSG DQ250? the DQ250 has really short gearing. i am nearly at 2k RPM at 100kph. almost 3k RPM doing 130kph
