I like driving the V60 but the wife is the primary on it and for me it is not the same as the Audi or a VW. It is a refined and "fun" experience. You need to do some good test drives as driving experience is subjective.
I know the feeling. I was rear ended in my replacement Audi e-tron on Valentines day and pushed into the car in front of me. It had ~6600 miles just over 6 months.
Initial estimate by the insurance company is $66xx and he said there would be more added on once the body shop got to it. An...
Easiest thing is to try to bring to your appointment. If they don't take it, you can re-apply.
When I did my buyback where I had the title, the buyback specialist didn't particularly look at it except to confirm the VIN.
So finally got the overage back from VW Credit.
I need to call them about the excess interest*
Buyback on 1/14
VW Credit received check on 2/3
VW Credit account marked close on 2/7
Overpayment received from VW Credit 2/27
* My normal payment was on the 30th of each month. The statement...
It does not take 12 weeks. Mine took about 3 weeks or so IIRC.
I would do it directly through Fidelity. You can call them and if you are persistent enough they will send you the fax to send to and what to send. I took a picture of the odometer and sent that with. If you have already done...
If this is Fidelity, the reason they want you to go to the dealer is not necessarily to check the mileage -- I did my cancellation last summer by fax directly with Fidelity. The dealer sold it and they want the dealer to cancel it as the dealer is the one who refunds you your pro-rated amount...
Obviously you aren't working on the buyback all those months but they should mention the time, the missed deadlines, and the frustration. That is part of the buyback experience.
I'd make a two page document with the title and the lien release. Put the release first and the title second. Maybe a little note on the lien release that the title follows on page 2.
I uploaded a multi page document or two and had no problems (not this exact circumstance but not where multi...
Been getting them for years on all my VWs and my Dodge trucks. These are not related to the settlement. They are standard dealer sales/marketing tactics and mailers.
I still occasionally get them on my Passat, which I traded in for the JSW in 2013. And for my Dodge truck, which I also...
It was in late December but one of my JSW went back with a large set of cracks that all came from one little chip down at the bottom below that black outer edge so I didn't see it. Not an issue.
They are paid off in batch at VW Credit but not at the end of the month. My VW Credit payoff hit them on 2/3 (based on Payment History on vwcredit.com) and was finished and account was closed by the end of 2/7 (2/3 was Thursday and 2/7 a Monday).,
Another report showed other VW Credit payments...
IIRC they have 5 days to send it. I don't think they have a commitment on how fast it is processed.
Based on the number people are getting from when their check was cut, when calling in to the help line, it appears that the checks are being "cut" within the 5 business days, but not being sent...
Since you don't want the hassle of dealing with it that would be reasonable.
But you could have waited to 2/23 to have to worry about it and technically 3/13 to really worry about it.
Hope it hits soon and you get the money back from VW Credit.
It took 2-3 weeks for Fidelity to send the check for both the ones I cancelled (they actually send it back to the dealer who sold it to you and they, the dealer, send you the check).
By "send you the checK" I mean send the check to your lien holder if you have a lien or you if not.
Exactly, and so to remove this, VW already considers EVERY car "pristine" as the "CLEAN" rating is the best/highest that NADA has according to their website glossary which shows the condition ratings.
