Any tips? I have all the center console, stereo, dash vent covers, AC controls, etc out of the way already. Going in to replace felt on the blend doors, which requires removal of the HVAC. Would you guys replace the heater core while in there? $100 or so.... I wish I knew how to 'search' the...

Thanks again for clarification. One guy posted that he was able to do it without dash and HVAC removal, but I suppose he was only referring to the forward blend door. I did that one with a pancake turner (slipped it through the crack and applied the felt to the blend door). Worked well...

I had the same, so I just sprayed til it emptied and refilled. Took awhile, but I got it all out. The container still had water from it being a FL car. dp

That makes total sense now because in repairing (the only one I could see), it helped with air flow, but not with temp. Before I repaired it, I'd get about 25% through the vents, 25% in defrost, 25% to my feet, etc (regardless of what setting the air flow indicator was on). I'll try to get to...

Ninedee... Can you give me an idea of where the Blend Door(s) are? I assume that the location lays between where the two heater hoses come in from the engine compartment and in back of the HVAC???? I stuck a mirror back in there but am not quite sure what I'm looking for thanks dp
