2015 TDI Alternator Replacement

Does anybody have experience with changing an alternator on a 2015 TDI Golf? It's so tight at the front of the engine, I can't see how it comes out, but obviously from the bottom, as there's no clearance on the top side. With the high-tech intercooler this engine has, it's so tight in the engine bay. Thanks for any insight.

I'm sure you'll have to put the front in the service position to get to it. I don't know what info you'll find with this, but you'll get the idea.
