UPDATE: I found the culprit. I unplugged a wire way in the back while jostling plastic. All good. Thank you.
Hey folks--
2000 VW Jetta ALH 190,000 miles. Manual climate control.
So I repaired my temperature blend doors behind the dash today by removing degraded foam and taping with metal tape. But now as I put everything back together my cabin fans aren't blowing any air at all when I turn the fan speed dial on to 1,2,3 or 4. Both plugs are plugged into the back of the temperature/fan speed panel. The AC button used to light up prior to me removing the center of the dash to get to the blend doors. Now it does not. So I am thinking for some reason there is suddenly no power getting to the temperature/fan control panel? Wires look okay.
Also there is a white plug that I can't find a home for but I don't remember it being plugged into anything while taking everything apart.
Does anyone have any insight on this? Bently manual is currently in a different state... Thank you.
