Hello all
Well my Saga continues Have had many issues with my jetta over the years.
Have gotten lots of help from this forum its one of the best some really great people here!
Current issue:
Well after rebuilding the Cylinder head all ne Valves Cam water pump belt AC pump every thing WAS fine a week later it developed a strong miss fire.
Trouble shot it down to an Injector replaced whole set from Bosch dealer out of Germany on Ebay These new injectors were very expensive and car has sat for a bit waiting on the new parts. The car Runs great now BUT
When I was about to put it back on the road I decided to check all my lights and tire pressures, So now.
1. I turn on left Blinker only left front flashes and Mirror light flashes all other light bulbs Good in rear but no flashing no power.
2. Right side only mirror light flashes front blinker light good but not flashing, rear Bulbs good but again no flashing no power.
3 Try head lights head lights come on but no running lights from rear double check bulbs all good put them back in.
4. Turn off head lights turn back on left rear running light comes on then goes out after 10-15 seconds, does same thing if I turn head lights off then on again. Nothing out of Right hand side. While the light was on on left side I checked for power on right side Nothing noda zilch.
Opened up rear covers inspected wiring cant find any broken wires or shorts Car has never been in accident owned since new......
I did have a Day running light issue some time ago where the running lights would turn on all by themselves Turning off Day running lights corrected this. But now I am having this issue.
Does anyone have any ideas BESIDES telling me to check Fusses?
At this point I am thinking maybe its the Light control computer deal?????
I am heading back out to plug vag com into it and see what that says maybe reset and clear any faults
