  • Everything worked, but the DSG only drives in one gear and doesn’t shift! Is it necessary to adapt the DSG? I've been thinking for a week now, what did I do wrong? Please tell me my mistake! Thank you!

Do you have any codes on the transmission? Also did you get the ecu retuned?
I have already installed the DSG transmission, connected the wires as you wrote, I rearranged the dashboard so that the speed transmission would be via the canbus!

Awesome, you should be pretty much set. You should be able to see the gear selection on your instrument cluster as well.

Hello. After a few days, I figured it out, I have a 1999 Toledo, the ABS system is installed MK20, as I understand, the DSG does not understand the old-style ABS. I will install ABS MK60 with ESP, after that everything should work!

You are correct, abs needs to be mk60 for it to work. Good luck!
Hi, friend! I read your article about installing a DSG in a Golf 4 with an ALH engine, I was impressed! I also want to do the same, I have a Seat Toledo with an ASV engine.
Where in TN are you? I live close to Chattanooga and have a 2005 Passat GLS TDI wagon that runs but has turbo issues All original except new headliner. If you are interested, I'd let it go for $1,000.
