I sometimes have the same issue with my auto up down and what I found out is if you hold the switch all the way up for about 3-5 seconds it starts working normal.

What did you do to reconnect at the lower end

Just bought this GSW 42K but still keeping my 13 Golf with 86K. Love them both

I picked up a 2013 Golf in New Hampshire from a Non VW dealer and love it. I have Almost put on 6K miles with no issues. Good luck
