I had this happen. Turns out it was a hair overfull. Drained a little out and reset it and all was right again.

I have the drawtite on mine and it works well. It does bottom out occasionally even though it mounts pretty flush with the bottom of the bumper cover. The Ecohitch shown looks like it hangs down much further than all the others, and I'd imagine it would bottom out much more often.

I have found that you HAVE to be rolling forward at 5-10mph in a straight line while holding the button in the glove box for it to reset.

I had to be moving slowly while holding the reset button for it to work.

How is the tune working out for you? Did you get the mileage on your MFI straightened out? Do you have any solid mileage numbers for us? Im on the fence about spending the money on the tune, the performance increase isn't that important for me, but I am interested in the fuel mileage increase...

As long as your check eng light isn't on it should pass, you are allowed one not in readiness in CT.

Sounds like a loose clamp or coupling between the turbo and intake.

I drive from CT to Fla frequently in my 03 jetta 5spd, and average 53-55 mpg at 75mph indicated with the windows down or the ac on. The op should be able to do the same or better with a Golf. The only mods I have are 520 nozzles , timing up near the top and no cat.
