I just bought a 2013 JSW TDI and currently I am averaging 46.5mpg (DSG). Of course I came from a 11 Golf TDI (6MT) that averaged 47.52mpg over the course of 63K miles. I haven't any concerns just yet with my new 13 TDI w/ DSG yet.

The closest I was ever able to get out of my 2011 Golf TDI (6MT) was 790 miles out of a tank, and that was as far as I dared push it. Averaged: 52.96mpg that tank, and that was old lady driving and watching my revs.

No I brought my Golf in to the dealer on day and they had a set of GTI Detroit wheels (new) for sale for $699 w/ tires. So I snatched them up. When I bought the JSW, I told them to swap out the wheels.
