  • Hi, sounds counter intuitive, but advance the pump more, push the top of the pump towards the firewall.

    I double checked my mechanical timing last night and realized I was about a tooth off. I've got that fixed now and the car sounds and runs much better but I still have the N108 code and the vag-com timing number is still pegged at 255. I rotated the pump back and forth a bit but it didn't affect the number or timing graph.

    You really have to push it to the firewall. It will start to run worse, but once you get into the lower numbers on the graph, it will start running better.
