Audi wheels are available with multiple hub sizes, rings may still be needed.
As for metal vs plastic, I prefer plastic and changing them out every few years. Metal need anti-seize applied to the hub to prevent them from fusing together. An issue that you don't want to deal with on the side...
I had a CV go years ago. It was slightly noticeable while cruising, but terrible upon acceleration. I guess it depends on how broken it is?

I had a Carbino intake on my Malone Stage 2 '12 JSW TDI. No idea if it made it any faster or not, but it was fun to hear the turbo whistle. I still have it in my garage, but I don't believe it'll fit your car.

A roots style blower from a L67 would be great for low end grunt, something you can easily get from your OEM turbo and a tune. I wouldn't bother.
