coolant level is fine, rad. fan fuse is good, running temp is ok. dealer says must be temp sender, but today the light is not coming on.

Friends, I am confused. I installed a TDIHeater in my 05 Jetta wagon Monday. After the test drive and top off, no leaks no problems. Today my wife calls and says the coolant light is flashing. She isnt home yet so I haven't looked, but the level is fine and the temp guage reads normal...
