    Who did your CP3 and stage II? I haven’t found anyone here in CA that is a VW specialist who can or will do the work? They are all chickenshit

    I have a CR170 with Malone stage III and cp3 need to get it installed on my 2010 JSW. My only option is to tow it to another state far away to get it put together.

    My mechanic is in SoCal unfortunately, he's a mobile mechanic. Comes to my house. If you're in NorCal, I sincerely doubt he'll drive all the way up to you.

    Guy really knows his stuff though. He's done the CP3 and an XMan Hybrid install for me, along with various other bits and pieces.

    Interesting he can do this without a lift. I don’t really want to tow my JSW 5000 miles to get the work done. Maybe I can work something out with him.

    He does things by the job, not hourly. I would call him for your specific case. I know for me he did my CP3, timing belt, and thermostat all at once for $1500 or so, and then I think he asked an extra $750 for the turbo / Rawtek labor. It's hard to get exact prices because normally I bundle multiple jobs with him. Means I don't pay him to go into the same area of my car multiple times.
