SOLD
Selling my wagon as I have no use for a car for the next 8+ months. It's the GLS trim level. So, moonroof etc. Silver body with grey leather seats.
I had the car shipped over from Wild Rose Motors in California in 2013 so it has next to no rust.
It had a new clutch and a new timing belt...
This just popped up on craigslist. I know nothing about it other than what's on the listing and I'm in no was associated with the car or seller. I'm also not looking to buy.
Seems almost too good at only 3K. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/ctd/4773350577.html
I saw this 2003 TDI manual with a siezed engine on craigslist for $1800. It makes me wish I had room for a parts car. I thought someone on here might be interested.

Okay. I can see how my statement could be taken wrong. I meant don't contemplate doing a full timing belt job including all relevant replacement parts, JUST do it.
In no way, would I recommend JUST replacing the timing belt alone.
That was unclear.
Thanks for the fuel advise.
For those who use Mobil 1 TDT 5w40, it's on special at autozone right now. The price on display is $29.99 on the shelves. It rings up at $12.99. The employee who checked me out double and then triple checked to make sure the price was right.
I bought out the store...
There are also glass replacement lenses available. This is a thread with an install video. http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=318880
I have no personal experience with the glass replacement lenses that this thread shows. I am just pointing out that this is another option.
