Just purchased 2011 Golf TDI 4 door. 185k miles on the original clutch!! My brother drove it 157k miles and he is easy on clutch. My son-in-law put on the last 31k over 5 years and he is not so easy on clutch. Clutch drags and rattles in lower gears ... won't shift into reverse or 1-2 with engine running.
I'm curious about replacing with aftermarket clutch and flywheel, NOT dual mass. Any input from the forum?
