A stage 1 tune when he has changed turbo and map sensor? He needs a custom tune that is written for this hardware changes.
The stock injectors will be a bottle neck for this setup, sure you want to keep...
PD105 stock nozzles are only 425cc.
The injectors from ASZ and ARL are the biggest PD130/PD150 injectors (550cc) - 038 130 073 AL - Good for about 230-240 crank HP with sane cylinder pressure and EGT levels.
038 130 073 AA are also 550cc, all other PD130 injectors are slightly...
That is only possible with a untuned VNT15, even when these are tuned for more boost torque peak / max boost happens later:
Maybe a GTD1752VRK could do the same, but nothing bigger will spool to deliver torque peak that early.
Show me a dyno plot with GTB2260 with full boost at 2000rpm.
Talking about personal preference, have you counted how many times you have mentioned the 2260 thelast few weeks on this forum? And your golf, and that your head lifts…:p
Just weld a T25 flange to a 1Z/AHU/AFN or AGR transverse application exhaust manifold, works like a charm :)
What is the power goal for this build?
The Holset T25 flange has a smaller opening than most aftermarket T25 flanges, shoot me a PM if you need a CAD drawing for the Holset version.
I ended up with the creative middle way:
Just purchased 2 ea GTB2056VL, one for this ALH and another one for my Audi A3 BKD quattro daily beater :p
I have had the same turbo as a daily for 5 years before on an ASZ so I know my way around that turbo, they are also dirt cheap ;)
