NMS cruising rpm at speed with 6MT?

Hey all

I'm interested in what you all are experiencing with engine rpm's at cruising speed on the highway with the 6MT trans.

If anyone can report rpm's up for 60, 70, and 80 I'd appreciate it. Also, if you're in 5th at 60 LMK that too.

Considering using the 6MT for a conversion project and would like some real world rpm numbers to go with it.

I edited the numbers a little. I realized this morning that the middle of 200 RPM tick marks means 100 RPM, not 50. Sometimes I'm stupid. Or tired. Or both!

Those are still good numbers, and what I was looking for.

What it basically says to me is that the 6 speed trans dual FD trans now falls in line with what you could build with the Eurotuningcz 6th gear kit installed on the 02A/02J 5MT TDI cars.

thats right in line with the 2015 DSG, at 75mph it's at about 2,000 rpm.

CKRA DSG at 68MPH is at 2k rpm.

yeah huge difference of the 2012-2014 and the 2015 DSG's for an equivalent output drive line.

Looks like 80MPH for me is around 2350 (DSG).
