As you can tell from the title I have a TDI cupedition, I was hoping someone could help me estimate the value of the car. Correct me if I’m wrong but in my exact spec there was only 250 made but it’s hard to say exactly how many are still standing. I will give a run down on the condition of the car and specs and hopefully someone can help me out.

My spec is
-Black
-Thunder Bunny kit
-6 speed manual

Mechanically and Cosmetically the car is perfect. It has been well maintained and looked after. Could use some paintwork but I’m not too worried. The only problem is it is coming up on 250,000km. I’d estimate 80% of those clicks have been highway commuted and the rest are city. Otherwise it’s my pride and joy and would love to get an idea of how much it’s worth seeming I can’t find one quite like it. Thank you.

It’s worth whatever someone will pay for it. With that said, the two I saw recently in my area were $8k and $10k. The $8k had 78k miles and was a DSG W/out the TB bumper. The $10k was white had 130k, 6speed manual and had the TB bumper.

There was a black one listed on here a couple years ago. It was a built stage III car with CP3 pump conversion. I think he wanted $16k, but had difficulty selling it at that price. I also saw he listed it on Cars.com. No idea if he ever sold it or what it went for $$ wise.

if you think you’ve got some kind of exotic gold mine worth big bucks, you’re probably going to be disappointed with its actual worth.

That is actually good news for me. I was overselling the car on purpose to see what the very most it could sell for. For my situation the car does not belong to me. It’s my dads car that he bought in 2012 and rode it out until he got something different. I get about a year with the car then it’s my decision to either buy it off of him or he’ll just sell it. For the first time ever I’m happy with depreciation of a vehicle. I appreciate the help
