Two 96 Passat TDI cars at Summit IL Pick n Pull

Not sure if we have members in the Chicago area that still run B4's but maybe.

Anyway, two Passat tdi's were added to inventory of the Pick n Pull in Summit IL beginning of September, a green car and a blue one. The green one looks to be fully intact with a left fender damage, the blue one is missing hubcaps but otherwise looks reasonable for parts.

It's too far for me to go for anything but as few of these as there are hitting the salvage yards anymore thought it might be worth notifying the group.

If you go post back with some pics and what you were able to get.

You can't really do much about looking at what parts are left, the yard is a Upull yard and once they place it in the yard they're basically done with it until it leaves around 30-45 days later.

You can see them as they were when they arrived by going to Row52.com and searching for them.

What's left there is anyone's guess, seems the TDI vultures are still scrambling to buy stuff even though the big craze (or at least the first big diesel craze) has come and gone.
