Does this even plug in anywhere

2015 golf TDI. Found this plug just sitting near back of engine and can't find where it goes!!!!

I think it goes to the CCV heater. In your photo, follow the corrugated hose with the round yellow sticker on it down to the what I think is the CCV heater. It looks like there is no harness connector on it...

...and the harness routes through the unused, 3rd support clip on top of the MAF hose, next to the 2 larger rubber hoses.

Thanks for the help. I feel kinda dumb for not seeing it haha. I looked for 15 minutes! That was unhooked and the preheat tube that comes from the air box was off too.
