I got a 2012 jetta TDI with 28k miles and my glow plug light is flashing. I haven't got a chance to pull codes, and without codes you can't tell what's wrong. But what have people seen as the problem ?
Let's hope not but sounds like infamous fuel pump implodingWhat kinda issues we talking ?
LOL, so basically they give you a heart attack to let you know your light bulb is out.In 2001 the glow plug flashing in my golf tdi meant a tail light was out...
On my 2011 Jetta it meant the barometric pressure sensor was on the fritz. On a new car, the glow plug light flashing indicates a serious engine malfunction. Possibilities include, but are not limited to, a failed turbocharger and a failed high pressure fuel pump. It could be any number of things, so step one is to scan with VCDS and find out what it is unhappy about.
