Or they've been chasing an air leak in the fuel system for 4 years, finally had the pump re-sealed and found a hidden crack in the top repaired by the DEALER after the crash 8 years ago (previous owner) with JB WELD!

You know, just a guess.

No way. No dealer would ever try and repair an injection pump with JB Weld when it would pass up an opportunity to sell an entire new injection pump!!

Well they did that time. Probably billed the insurance for the new pump anyway. I wondered why I could hear a hiss at the pump when I was priming it with vacuum.

This is the same dealer who's service writer told me point blank on the phone that they never in the history of the dealership ever replaced a stretch bolt except for head bolts.

Ogden, UT, look them up.
