Most of the construction is done. Still a few rough patches but nothing major.

2 hours and 40 minutes to go. Definitely getting tired of being in this car!

We are talking in chat about FRUIT PUNCH supplies. :D

Sidebar: what is up with NY's "State Speed Limit: 55" when the speed limit is usually 65?
You must not spend much time in the northeast corridor 55 if you are lucky. Most of the time traffic will not let you go even that fast. Sort of like Northern VA into DC LOL

Anybody a decent welder? if the red car makes it, the muffler has become detached from the rear mounting arm and hangs a bit low...just like....err nevermind....and just needs a small bead to hook it back up.

PeterV has a small MIG but I need someone with better skilz than me, and a helmet. Any takers?
I'll bring my helmet I'm a bit rusty but I'll give it a shot

Ford power! I'm going to spend some time looking at that.

Gracias!

Woot! First on Page 3!11111!!1!1!11!!!

On a non-related note, it seems the food thread is looking a bit sparse, peeps... I think it might help all of our collective stomachs if those that haven't already done so take a peek over there and perhaps consider volunteering something up ;-) i think our gracious hosts would be very appreciative..

Throw the horse over the fence some hay

If anyone has a plastic belly pan, in reasonably good shape, that will fit an A4 Jetta that they want to sell, let me know...
Why wouldn't they sell the belly pan with the car?
;)

Woot! First on Page 3!
In your little world.
I have a different page length set-up as my preference and we're now on page 6 here in Lugnutucky.

100 posts per page is the only way to view.

On that note, everyone who is coming to the GTG needs to check the food thread and post what you're bringing. :)

I wish I came up. I stayed home because I had to put new tires on my lawn/tractor (plow) and then planned to change the parking brake cables on the golf. It turns out the old cables are not old after all but the calipers appear to not hold the car once everything is adjusted. It would have been nice to get a second or third set of eyes to confirm that I really need to replace the rear calipers.:(

Another great GTG as always. Geoff was very happy to get his harmonic balancer replaced. Thanks to Peter, Lug_Nut, and others for your help. Those who didn't pick up orders, we'll ship.
Happy New Year, everyone!

P&J thanks for having the bunny slope open, a good time was had with the sledding.

It was great to see everyone old and new, particularly those who traveled so far. The paint job on the Audi is great, what is the story behind that?
Brian, love the new wagon, I'm sure you can breath new life into her and I'm sure she'll treat you well.
As always god eats to be had, no sign of any New Year's diets. I'm sure the tradition of deep frying strange food stuff is continuing into the wee hours.

Jon, thanks for checking the brake lines on the Corolla, I need to find a reasonable mechanic near Nashua to help me keep that car on the road for a few more years.

See y'all at a FF or GTG soon.

55 degrees! Couldn't have asked for warmer weather. Found out my Mactools Compression tester uses the same adapter as the Mactools setup, how to disconnect some of those annoying electrical connectors, dropped off and picked up some parts from Peter, had a few Pow Wows, great hospitality, food and cars ... my only regret is leaving at five.
