Default What did you trade your Toureg for?

I have a 2012 Toureg and have submitted all the paperwork, and just had it notarized yesterday. I am curious what folks have traded their Toureg for? I have driven the Alltrack and the Tiguan and can't help but feel like I'm really downgrading! I see the benefit of a new car and a 7 year warranty, but when I see Touregs going for 50K, I wonder if trading my luxury Toureg for s 30K Tiguan is the way to go?

Different ,worlds apart. I still have my TREG TDI and will sell it back when the time comes. I do have a new Alltrack which is a NICE WAGON,but not even close to the Treg. V6 TDI compared to a 4 cyl TSI,don't expect to get excited. I am thinking a Q5 with a 3.0 gasser. I still want another diesel. I use mine to tow boats. The engine options for VW are weak except GTI group.

The Q5 would be a good choice, or even a newer Touareg if you can find one. I switched to a Model X.

Replaced Silver 2012 Touareg Lux TDI, 44K miles with a Silver 2014 Touareg Exec TDI, 21K miles.

I started with a 2012 TDI Jetta that I had purchased in 2013, it went through the buyback then bought a 2012 Touareg TDI (before 3.0 buybacks were announced), sold it back to VW then bought a 2014 Touareg TDI, it got fixed by VW, then last month I traded it in for a heavily discounted 2016 Touareg Lux TDI.

In the meantime, we bought a 2014 Q5 TDI in 2016 that we were paid full restitution on. So I've been on quite the TDI rollercoaster and I'm happy with how it ended up
