Default FS: rebuild ALH head (and other stuff) Missouri

TDI New Beetle, the complete lock carrier assembly, with radiator, condenser, and fans. $50, would also need to be picked up. This will only fit the New Beetle.

2.0L AEG (gas) cylinder head core (bent valves, repairable), $25. AEG pistons, rods, and rings that had about 10k miles on them, $20.

One NOS B4 steel wheel (been sitting in the weather, but is still good), $25. Have a couple good used wheels for same as well.

I have a lot of miscellaneous AHU, ALH parts like EGR pipes, timing covers, oil pans, fan controllers, compressors, etc. just ask if you are looking for anything used and cheap but was still functional.

2004 Passat GLS sedan, AWM 1.8t engine, automatic, runs/looks/drives good, needs ABS module and possibly combi-valve for secondary air injection. Has new front struts, brakes, timing belt kit, fan clutch, thermostat, breather system just rebuilt, all new filters and fluids, 201k miles. $2000

Do you have a CCM that would work for a 2003 Jetta wagon GLS?

Maybe a few odds and ends, probably nothing you need or want. But I will take a look over the weekend. Kudos on saving a B4!!!

Updated to include the GTI I am parting out. Wheels are gone, rear beam is bent. 12v VR6 has 180k, new chains/sprockets/clutch/thermostat housing/crack pipe/etc. all done at 160k. It was a good strong runner, very reliable, no MIL, no oil consumption, etc. Wrecked in rear end (rolled down a hill backwards into a house, owner didn't understand the importance of a parking brake ).

I just read this now and I have to ask, was the handbrake not used and the car not left in gear either? This just boggles my mind...

Default Used Mechatronics?

Hey there Brian. My MU is kaput. Wondering if you have a line on used ones. Cheapest I can find is $600 plus the expense for "Mini DSG Reader" to flash from one to the other.
Or, if you know a refurb shop. MU guru in Denmark says power relay code confirms bad MU.
Thanks, -Bob
