Help, How do I reset computer ?

I did the 40,000 mile maintenance on my wife's 2012 jetta myself and now the Service light came on. I need to know how to reset the computer.

On the instrument cluster, you will see two buttons, one on each side. With the key off, reach in and press/hold the button on the right, keep holding while you turn the key to "on", release that button and press the one on the left

Thanks for the replies guys but I have a problem.
My car has push button start so I can't turn it on without starting it.
So what do I do ?

^ My 2012 has a push button start and if you simply press the start button quickly (do not hold down) it will turn on the accessories without cranking the motor. Press and hold and it will crank.
